| | UNICEF TAP PROJECT: MARCH 2010
The UNICEF Tap Project raises vital donations and awareness for UNICEF Water, Sanitation and Hygiene programs, essential to ensure the health of underserved developing world children. As a supporter of the UNICEF Tap Project, The Del will ask guests in 1500 OCEAN, Sheerwater and ENO to donate $1 or more for the water they usually enjoy for free. This effort will take place throughout March, including World Water Week from March 21 to 27. A Few Water Facts:
- Every day, 4,100 children die of water-related diseases
- Nearly 900 million people worldwide lack access to safe drinking water (nearly half are
children)
- Just $1 raised through the Tap Project can provide a child with safe water for 40 days |

1500 OCEAN at the Hotel del Coronado and Chef de Cuisine Brian Sinnott are pleased to present special dinner events this year in celebration of “sustainable food,” which is the farming of plants and animals in ways that ensure the long-term health and stability of the species as well as improving the ecosystem.
