SUMMER FAMILY FUN AT THE HOTEL DEL CORONADO

CORONADO, CA — Just in time for summer, the Hotel del Coronado is pleased to present the new Teen Access Pass, just for those ages 13 to 17. This card entitles teens to special offers and complimentary gifts at the Sun Deck Grill, Spreckels Sweets & Treats, the spa and salon and beach rental outlets.

In addition, teens can enjoy the year-round Vibz teen lounge, surfing lessons, teen yoga and beach boot camp, biking, kayak tours, volleyball and boogie board rentals and much more. And for those who want to relax and unwind, the Spa at The Del offers spa treatments designed specifically for those ages 13 to 17. The Spa Sundae package includes a 25-minute Ice Cream Float (flavored bath fizz in our Hydro-Capsule), 25-minute Spreckels Sugar Scrub and a 25-minute Frosting Massage – how sweet is that?

Younger guests (ages 4 to 12) can once again enjoy the royal treatment this summer with the V.I.K. (Very Important Kid) program. The program is designed to make them feel extra special starting at check-in, where they will receive their V.I.K. pass. The lanyard pass can be worn around the neck and entitles kids to great offers at their favorite spots including MooTime Creamery, Spreckels Sweets & Treats, The Toy Castle and Kidtopia. After they visit these locations and get a sticker from each one (no purchase required), they will receive a special toy prize at Kidtopia.

Kids will enjoy taking their V.I.K. pass to The Toy Castle to check out books, dolls, stuffed animals and toys galore. MooTime Creamery offers ice cream and yogurt that is smooshed and smashed into their favorite flavor combinations. And Spreckels Sweets & Treats, an old-fashioned candy store, is the perfect way to indulge those sweet tooth cravings.

Then there’s Kidtopia, an exciting facility for children ages 4 to 12, featuring bright colors, underwater murals and separate beach-themed rooms for crafts and playtime. There’s also a crazy funhouse mirror and high-tech entertainment stations with computers, movie-time media and a Dance Dance Revolution game. Kidtopia offers three-hour camps, mini camps and shorter programs with entertaining and educational crafts and activities.
