WINDSOR LAWN
The Windsor Lawn was named after the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, who are rumored to have met at The Del. This expansive oval lawn overlooks the Pacific and provides the ultimate Southern California oceanfront event setting.

BEACH
Named one of the top 10 beaches in the U.S. by The Travel Channel, Coronado beach is the perfect location for a fun group outing or theme party on the sand.

GARDEN PATIO
Once featuring exotic flowers, parrots and even monkeys, The Garden Patio is the centerpiece of the Victorian Building. Surrounded by the resort’s Queen Anne architecture, this courtyard features beautiful gardens and lawn areas.

VISTA WALK
The Del’s famed signature turret is the backdrop for this beautiful garden setting. It also features the unique "Dragon Tree" that was shown in the movie "Some Like It Hot" starring Marilyn Monroe. The Vista Walk is perfect for breaks, cocktail receptions and more.

SUN DECK
This outdoor space overlooks the Pacific and has beautiful views of the Coronado sunsets. It also surrounds the resort's sparkling pool, which in the early days was filled with saltwater for its therapeutic benefits. The Sun Deck is a great venue for dinners, welcome receptions and cocktail parties.

BALLROOM
The elegant Ballroom features crystal chandeliers, tapestry draperies, original built-in stage and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. The ballroom originally featured an open ceiling with balcony seating for guests to watch the performances below.

CROWN ROOM
Featuring a magnificent, 30-foot, sugar-pine ceiling, elegant wall coverings and crown chandeliers designed by Wizard of Oz author L. Frank Baum, the Crown Room is a magical setting for a group event. It was originally the resort's main dining room and has held state dinners, royal events and even the celebration for Lindbergh's famous flight. The Crown Room is located directly off of the main lobby and connects to the adjacent Coronet Room.

GRANDE HALL
The most expansive Del event space - the contemporary Grande Hall – recently underwent a $2 million renovation and features nearly 12,000 square feet of unobstructed space, a hydraulic lift for large production load-in and out, 22-foot ceilings and multiple connected breakout rooms.

WINDSOR COMPLEX
Smaller venues like the Windsor Complex combine the modern conveniences of high-speed Internet access and multimedia capabilities with stunning views - perfect for an intimate gathering or executive luncheon. This venue was named after the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, who are rumored to have met at The Del.

GARDEN ROOM
The charming Garden Room features a wall of windows out to the picturesque Garden Patio that flood the room with natural light. It’s the perfect location for a luncheon or welcome reception.
