2018 Chef Throwdown

Benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

You are invited to be a part of an unforgettable evening of epicurean splendor showcasing the talents of over 25 of the best chefs from San Diego and Baja at the annual Chef Throwdown at the iconic Hotel del Coronado, benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The progressive evening will bring together local fashionable foodies awarding a ‘People’s Choice’ and a Culinary Council of celebrity top chefs and food critics, awarding the Chef Flor Franco Awards for Culinary Excellence. 2018’s lineup of competing chefs and judges will be announced soon.

6pm | Chefs Tasting | Featuring 25 San Diego and Baja chefs

8pm | Dinner | A three course dinner prepared by Executive Chef Stefan Peroutka, first course prepared by French Master Chef Olivier Dubreuil.

8:30pm | Live Program | Hosted by Melissa D’Arabian, Food Network Star and Sam the Cooking Guy. The evening will include a live auction, bid for a cure and presentation of the Chef Throwdown awards. The Industry Leader award will be presented to Chef Works.

9:30pm | Nightcap | Featuring San Diego’s pastry chefs, cocktails and late night desserts with music by DJ Hevrock.
