Meet The Del's Resident Ghost - Kate Morgan

Gather your friends for a spooky night under the stars. Our highly popular roast bonfire with s’mores has an added supernatural flare. Enjoy your fireside treats and huddle closely around the fire-pit as you experience a paranormal visit from Kate Morgan, our resident ghost, and the source of our folklore as a haunted hotel. She’ll share her tragic tale and offer your guests a unique insight into her mysterious passing. Ghost roast is available the last two Fridays and Saturdays of October plus Halloween night (October 20, 21, 27, 28, 31).

Bonfires on the beach have long been a favorite tradition at The Del, and now the toes-in-the-sand, fireside experience has gone gourmet. Guests tuck into beach chairs with blankets and choose from an expanded a la carte menu.

Fire pits are $100 for a one-hour experience with add-on menu options below (gluten-free or vegan options available). Sodas, coffee, hot chocolate, beer and wine also available. One pit accommodates up to 10 guests. Available daily 6-7:15pm, 6:15-7:30pm, 8-9:15pm, 8:15-9:30pm. Advanced reservations required.

 

ROAST MENU

Chips & Dips – $18
house guacamole & fire-roasted salsas with thick-cut tortilla chips

Cheese & Charcuterie Board – $25
California cheese + charcuterie with grilled crostini, California olive oil, & housemade pickled vegetables

Fireside Franks – $50
four hot dogs & buns, two bags of kettle potato chips & classic condiments to top off your roasted dog

Classic S’mores – $15 per person
traditional honey graham crackers, jumbo marshmallows & Hershey’s chocolate

Zebra Berries – $30
chocolate covered strawberries in white & dark, single-origin, chocolates

Roasts are also available for larger groups and birthday parties. Share your photos with hashtag #DelRoast. Outside food and beverage is not permitted. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
