Collaboration Gray Malin at Hotel del Coronado

Hotel del Coronado is honored to be part of a new photo series by legendary fine art photographer, Gray Malin. Take a journey back in time with this vintage-inspired series set at The Del celebrating the 1960s resort lifestyle and featuring famed synchronized swimmers, the Aqualillies.

See the artwork at our onsite gallery near Babcock & Story Bar and take home a piece from the series from The Del's shop, BEACHOUSE, or at GrayMalin.com.

Gray Malin Suite

To celebrate the launch of this gorgeous new photo series, we have collaborated with Gray’s team and our friends at Wimberly Interiors (the design firm behind the beautifully restored Victorian lobby) to create the Gray Malin Oceanfront Suite. The best corner suite in The Views neighborhood, the design features numerous aspects of Gray Malin's work including dramatic artwork in every room from the new series, his home decor and furniture pieces, and his full set of coffee table books. When you book the suite, you'll also take home your own framed Mini print from the series, signed by Gray Malin.

About Gray Malin

Traversing the globe for unusual beauty, Gray Malin aims to make conceptual fine art that can be easily stylized into collectors’ homes. His bold photographic works forge the synergy between wanderlust and adventure, transporting the viewer to another place. Malin joyfully invites people together to share in this explorative spirit.

His early notable work, Prada Marfa, put him on the radar of fashion and art enthusiasts and he has since become commercially recognized for inventive aerial beach, ski, and park scenes and conceptual fine art series like Gray Malin at the Parker.

When he isn’t at home in Southern California, he is out traveling creating new work; his adventures are often his greatest inspiration.
