Crown Room
The Crown Room is located in our iconic Victorian Building and features a magnificent, 30-foot, sugar-pine ceiling. This breathtaking San Diego venue is named for its gorgeous crown chandeliers designed by L. Frank Baum, the author of Wizard of Oz and a longtime Del visitor.
Once The Del's main dining room and the site of grand celebrations for presidents and royalty, this space has been restored in 2024 by refinishing the original wood, uncovering and repairing the original entry doors, making electrical upgrades, and installing refreshed carpeting and wall sconces. The Crown Room is a magical setting for a group event, corporate conference, large banquet, or exhibit.
