Where can I purchase tickets?  Can I buy a ticket on-site?
All tickets must be purchased online. Your reservation is only valid for the time and date purchased. A very limited amount of tickets may be purchased on-site with a phone, but quantities are limited and not guaranteed.  To ensure you are able to skate, please purchase your tickets ahead of time.

Are skates included in the price?
Yes, skate rentals are included. Sizes are available from Toddler 8 – Adult 15. Double runner skates, with two blades along the bottom for added stability, are available for sizes Toddler 8-Youth 2.

How long can I skate?
Tickets are valid for 90 minutes of ice skating, which begins at the time of check-in. Your reservation is only valid for the date and time purchased.

Where is the ice rink located?
The ice rink is located on the Windsor Lawn at the Hotel Del Coronado.

Is parking included or validated with ice skating?
Standard parking rates apply. Self-parking is available in the north parking garage off of Rh Dana Place. Directions & Parking Rates

Do I need to wear a mask, given the ongoing pandemic? 
The CDC, State of California and San Diego County recommend face masks in indoor public settings, regardless of an individual’s vaccination status. Masks are required while indoors for unvaccinated individuals and recommended for those who are fully vaccinated. Masks are recommended for outdoors if skaters are not vaccinated. Guests may self-attest to their vaccination status and follow the protocol that applies to them.

How old does a child need to be to ice skate?
There is no age restriction, but the child must be able to skate on their own. Parents are not allowed to carry their children while skating. Children under the age of 12 should be accompanied by a skating adult. 

After booking, can I change my reservation time?
You can edit your reservation up to 24 hours before your skating time. To update your reservation, go to your confirmation email, click on the “Create an Account to Edit Your Reservation” link at the bottom, and then “Claim Your Account.” Once inside your account you can edit your reservation time.

I would like to skate at a different time on the same day. Can I just show up and skate at a different time?
No, due to capacity restrictions, skaters must adhere to their reservation time.

What if I buy a ticket and the weather is unfavorable?
We continue to skate in light rain or drizzle.  If heavy rain or severe storm conditions are expected, resulting in a venue closure, relevant tickets will be rescheduled or refunded.

Considering the COVID-19 pandemic, how are you keeping everyone safe on the ice rink?
The health and well-being of our guests and staff remains our top priority and we’ve implemented changes to keep you skating safely during the current pandemic.
• Tickets must be purchased online in advance, with a specific reservation time, to reduce person-to-person contact.
• Only skaters and one non-skating parent/guardian are allowed into the ice rink venue.
• Ice rink capacity has been reduced significantly to allow for social distancing.
• Staff and skaters will be required to wear a mask or face covering at all times.
• Hand sanitizer will be available for guests throughout the venue.
• High-touch points and equipment will be frequently disinfected.
• Ice rink staff procedures have been revised to allow for social distancing and monitoring.                                                                                                                             

Do you need to wear socks?
Yes, socks are not provided.

Can I bring my own ice skates?                                                                                      
Yes; however, those with their own skates pay the same admission price as others.

If I bring my own skates, do you offer skate sharpening services?                                   
No.  We do not offer sharpening services.

Can I wear my shoes on the ice?
No.  Only ice skates are allowed on the ice surface.

Can I have a stroller on the ice?
No, strollers are not allowed.                                                                                     

Can my child wear a helmet?
Of course, extra protection is always encouraged.  We do not rent helmets, but you can bring your own.

Are you ADA accessible?                                                                                       
Absolutely!  Our ice rink is ADA compliant.

Are wheelchairs allowed on the ice?                                                                             
Yes, we allow and encourage wheelchairs on the ice; please ask a Guest Service member for assistance.

Do you offer skating lessons?
No
