Reservations

You may reserve your accommodations at Hotel del Coronado online or by calling 1.800.468.3533. Please reserve the type of room you wish to stay in upon arrival as upgrades may be limited. See our current amenities and offerings.

Deposit Information

A one-night deposit is required at time of booking. A debit/credit card will be authorized at check-in for the full amount due and estimated incidental charges of $150 per day.

Room Rate

If staying multiple nights, the room rate reflects your nightly room rates averaged over the length of your stay. The advertised Room Rate does not include taxes, Daily Resort Charge or a $15 per room, per night Historic Preservation Fund charge. 

Historic Preservation Fund

A $15 per room, per night Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) charge will be added to the room rate.  Additionally, retail prices for purchases at the hotel do not include a 1.888% HPF charge. The purpose of the HPF is to help support the ongoing preservation of this 1888 National Historic Landmark and to protect its legacy for generations to come.

Daily Resort Charge

A $50 daily resort charge is added to the room rate and includes: Guest internet access; Complimentary beach yoga and fitness center (reservations may be required); live streaming of Netflix, Pandora and YouTube (account required); and local and toll-free calls. Beach Village guests also enjoy complimentary use of sand chairs and umbrellas.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that your plans may change. Over most dates, Hotel del Coronado has a 72-hour cancellation policy and Beach Village at The Del has a 7-day cancellation policy. On certain dates this policy is extended to a 7-day cancellation period at Hotel del Coronado and a 14-day cancellation policy at Beach Village:

In 2022: March 24-April 17, May 26-29, June 30 – July 4, July 19-23, Sept 1-4, Nov 23-27, Dec 22-31

A 1-night deposit is required at the time of booking. Cancellations made after the stated time period result in full forfeiture of deposit. Should you need to change or cancel your reservation, please have your confirmation number available when making changes online or by calling 1.800.468.3533.

Overnight Parking

Self-parking is $50 per vehicle per night in our underground garage. Valet parking is $75 per vehicle per night. Electric vehicle charging stations are available on the surface level.

Early Check-In Policy

Check-in begins at 4pm. If you arrive before 4pm, we request that you check your luggage with our team and enjoy our restaurants and beach until your room becomes available.

Early Departure Policy

Should you check out prior to your scheduled departure date, you will be charged an early departure fee equal to one night room and tax. If booked over a minimum night requirement or on a holiday package, you will be charged the full length of your reservation.

Smoking Policy

There is no smoking on guest room balconies or inside guest rooms. In addition, smoking is prohibited at the pool. Guests may smoke in most other outdoor areas with the exception of the Spa terrace and the restaurant terraces.

In-Room Gatherings

Only registered guests are allowed in hotel rooms. Parties and gatherings are not permitted.

Connecting Rooms or Specific Room Requests

We would be happy to note the request for connecting or specific room numbers in your reservation, however we are unable to guarantee.

Rollaway Beds

There is a $25 nightly charge for rollaway bed requests. Rollaway beds are not available for all room types.
