Reservations

You may reserve your accommodations at Hotel del Coronado online or by calling 1.800.468.3533. Please reserve the type of room you wish to stay in upon arrival, as upgrades may be limited. See our current amenities and offerings.

Deposit Information

A one-night deposit is required upon booking at Hotel del Coronado, and a 2-night deposit is required upon booking for stays at Shore House and Beach Village. A debit/credit card will be authorized at check-in for the full amount due and estimated incidental charges of $150 per day at Hotel del Coronado, and $300 per day at Shore House and Beach Village. If there is less than $150 per day spent at Hotel del Coronado or $300 per day spent at Shore House or Beach Village, then the remainder will go back to your credit card within 7 business days. A credit card is recommended vs. a debit card so that funds stay available for your use in your bank account.

Room Rate

If staying multiple nights, the advertised Room Rate reflects each night's room rate averaged over the length of your stay. The advertised Room Rate does not include taxes, $35 per night Resort Charge, or a $15 per night Historic Preservation Fund charge. 

Mandatory Charge

A $50 mandatory charge is added per room, per night, and includes:

• $35 Resort Charge that includes: guest internet access; complimentary beach yoga and fitness center (reservations may be required); live streaming of Netflix, Pandora and YouTube (account required); and local and toll-free calls. Beach Village guests also enjoy complimentary use of sand chairs and umbrellas.
• $15 Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) charge. The purpose of the HPF is to help support the ongoing preservation of this 1888 National Historic Landmark and to protect its legacy for generations to come. Additionally, retail prices for purchases at the hotel do not include a 1.888% HPF charge.

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy for your stay will be clearly stated during the booking process and included in your confirmation email. Please refer to the information below for specific cancellation terms, which vary by neighborhood and stay dates.

Hotel del Coronado (The Victorian, The Cabanas, The Views)
Most reservations may be cancelled 72 hours or more before check-in for a full refund of your deposit. On select dates, a 7-day cancellation policy applies. A one-night deposit is required at the time of booking. Cancellations made after the stated deadline will result in full forfeiture of the deposit, regardless of when the reservation was made.

Shore House at The Del & Beach Village at The Del
Most reservations may be cancelled 21 days or more before check-in for a full refund of your deposit. On select dates, a 30-day cancellation policy applies. A two-night deposit is required at the time of booking. Cancellations made after the stated deadline will result in full forfeiture of the deposit, regardless of when the reservation was made.

Overnight Parking

Self-parking is $59 per vehicle per night in our underground garage. Valet parking is $79 per vehicle per night. Electric vehicle charging stations are available in the parking garage on P1 and P2 with charging included in the parking rate.

Early Check-In Policy

Check-in begins at 4:00pm. If you arrive before 4:00pm, we request that you check your luggage with our team and enjoy our restaurants and beach until your room becomes available.

Early Departure Policy

Should you check out before your scheduled departure date, you will be charged an early departure fee equal to one night's room and tax. If booked over a minimum night requirement or on a holiday package, you will be charged the full length of your reservation.

Pets

The Del welcomes pets under 40 lbs, some breed restrictions apply. There is a non-refundable cleaning charge for pets: $150 at Hotel del Coronado and $200 at Beach Village and Shore House (and an additional $50 for each connecting room), plus applicable taxes. Connecting Rooms or Specific Room Requests

We are pleased to offer guaranteed Connecting Rooms during the booking process. Please select 2 rooms and check the "Connecting Rooms" checkbox to see available rooms. For specific room numbers, we would be happy to note the request in your reservation; however, we are unable to guarantee a specific room.

Rollaway Beds

There is a $50 nightly charge for rollaway bed requests. Rollaway beds are available only on select room types. Please call for assistance: 1.800.468.3533 (or 1.619.435.6611)

Smoking Policy

There is no smoking on guest room balconies or inside guest rooms. In addition, smoking is prohibited at the pool. Guests may smoke in most other outdoor areas except the Spa terrace and the restaurant terraces. Ashtrays are available on the east side of the resort near the Power Plant. Please note that smoking is not permitted on public property around Coronado Island.

In-Room Gatherings

Only registered guests are allowed in hotel rooms. Parties and gatherings are not permitted.
