Crown Room
Aptly named for its crown chandeliers designed by Wizard of Oz author, L. Frank Baum, the Crown Room exudes old Hollywood glamour beneath a breathtaking wood-domed ceiling. This architectural marvel spans 160 feet by 60 feet without any pillars, offering an uninterrupted view. Famous for its 33-foot high ceiling paneled in beautiful Oregon sugar pine, the Crown Room has hosted many prominent events, including a banquet with England's Prince of Wales in 1920, a celebration of Charles Lindbergh's solo trans-Atlantic flight in 1927, and the first state dinner held outside the White House in 1970.
In 2024, the Crown Room underwent a meticulous restoration, including the refurbishment of the original wood and historic crown chandeliers which were installed circa 1911, the replacement of non-historic entry doors to match the originals, electrical upgrades, and refreshed carpeting and wall sconces.
With seating for up to 450 guests, this legendary venue is sure to impress, making it the perfect setting for weddings and special events.
