It’s time to create new Del Memories! Both of our resorts are open and operating at a reduced capacity to ensure physical distancing and comply with local, state amd health authority guidelines. In an effort to maintain the health and safety of our guests we have modified some of our amenities and offerings.
We understand that your plans may change, so we have instituted a flexible change and cancellation policy. Any reservation booked by August 31, 2020, can be modified up to 24 hours before the scheduled arrival. Please reserve online or call 1-844-513-8159 for assistance.
Hotel del Coronado Guests
Self-parking will be available in our north parking garage, located off R.H. Dana Place. Valet service is not available at this time. Parking rates.
Check-in is located in our open-air check-in area in the Garden Patio of the Victorian Building. If you are a Hilton Honors member, we encourage you to take advantage of a contactless arrival and departure with Digital Key (sign up for free).
Beach Village Guests
Beach Village guests check in at the Beach Village Welcome Center located off of the main drive. Self parking is available at the north parking garage. Valet parking is not available.
All Beach Village pools and the Breezes poolside eatery are open. Please note that the cabanas have been removed to allow for more lounge chairs. In compliance with state guidelines, all hot tubs are closed. Beach Village guests also receive complimentary Del Beach sand chairs and umbrellas. Windsor Cottage is closed at this time.
Face coverings that cover the nose and mouth are required in all public areas, except when dining at one of our restaurants or maintaining a 6-foot distance from others at the pool or beach. Disposable masks are available at the Front Desk.
As we are taking steps to ensure everyone’s safety, we ask our guests to be mindful and cautious. Do not visit the resort if within the last 14 days you: have been sick or had any of the symptoms related to COVID-19, have been exposed to confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19, or have traveled internationally. While at the resort, please ensure you are washing and sanitizing your hands frequently and do not have any unnecessary contact with anyone outside of your immediate family.
Hilton CleanStay with Lysol Protection
As part of the Curio Collection, we have implemented Hilton CleanStay with Lysol protection to deliver an industry-defining standard of cleanliness and disinfection. Developed in consultation with global and local public health authorities (including the WHO and CDC), key features of Hilton CleanStay include: guestroom door seals to indicate your room has not been accessed since it was cleaned; extra disinfection on high touch areas; removal of excess in-room amenities; guest-accessible hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes throughout the resort; contactless check-in/check-out; innovative disinfection technologies; and more.
In Your Guestroom
In accordance with Hilton CleanStay protocols, extra linens/pillows, robes, throw pillows, most paper amenities, and pens have been removed from all guestrooms. We are not providing daily housekeeping services during this time. Extra towels and amenities will be provided to last the duration of your stay instead of being replenished daily. Any additional items needed are available by request and will be delivered outside your door.
When you arrive at your room, a Hilton CleanStay room seal indicates that no one has accessed your room since it has been thoroughly cleaned. If a team member needs to enter your room, they will only do so when guests are not present.
Seating in our dining outlets has been arranged to accommodate physical distancing. Menus will be displayed or available digitally via QR code with single-use menus provided upon request.
At this time, In Room Dining is unavailable. For your convenience, we have created a digital take-out ordering option for overnight guests. Details are on the Resort Map provided at check-in.
In accordance county guidelines, the following modified activities are available with proper 6-foot social distancing.
- Coronado Beach is open for lounging, walking and water activities. Groups are not permitted.
- The newly renovated Main Pool is now open
- Del Beach daybed and sand chair rentals are available daily
- Del Watersports is open daily for rentals and private lessons
- Private s’mores Roasts on the beach are available nightly
- Outdoor fitness classes are available daily
Our Team Members
Team members have received an extensive re-orientation on our new procedures and protocols. In addition, team members are required to perform self-screenings at home and a contactless temperature check at the Team Member entrance before beginning work. During their shifts, Team Members are encouraged to wash hands/disinfect frequently, maintain physical distancing, and limit in-person interactions. Face masks are required for team members at all times while in guest-facing areas.
We’ve been continuing our Master Plan property enhancements. In the meantime, the following areas are undergoing enhancements:
- ENO Pizzeria and Sun Deck (opening in August)
- Main Lobby & south entrance (opening 2021)
- Ocean Towers guestrooms (will debut as The Views in 2021)
- Fitness Center (opening fall 2020, pending California state guidelines)
- Spa & Salon (opening fall 2020, pending California state guidelines)
- Lower level retail shops (opening 2021)
- South development (TBA)
