In an effort to maintain the health and safety of our team members and guests, and in accordance with guidelines from government and health authorities, we have modified our amenities and offerings. Reserving Your Stay

The resort opened June 26 at a reduced capacity to assist with physical distancing and to comply with state and local guidelines. Please note that our main pool and Cabana guestrooms will remain closed until at least July 19 while we complete an exciting transformation.  The Fitness Center and Spa will also remain closed and our available amenities have been modified. Until the pool reopens, our guests will be provided complimentary use of sand chairs and umbrellas, a daily $25 food and beverage credit, and discounted self-parking.

We understand that your plans may change, so to put your mind at ease we have an extremely flexible change and cancellation policy. Any reservation booked from March 12 to August 31, 2020, even with arrivals for dates beyond August 31, can be modified free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled arrival day.

PARKING
Self-parking will be available in our north parking garage, located off R.H. Dana Place. Valet service is not available at this time. See parking rates.

FACE COVERINGS
Face coverings that cover the nose and mouth are required for all guests and Team Members in all public areas, except when sitting at a table in one of our dining outlets or when maintaining at least a 6-foot distance from others at the pool or on the beach. Disposable masks are available upon request at the Front Desk.

PROTECTING OTHERS
As we are taking steps to ensure the safety of our team members and guests, we ask our guests to be mindful and cautious. Do not visit the resort if within the last 14 days you: have been sick or had any of the symptoms related to COVID-19, have been exposed to confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19, or have traveled internationally. While at the resort, please ensure you are washing and sanitizing your hands frequently and are not having any unnecessary contact with anyone outside of your immediate family.

Check-in for all stays, including Beach Village, is located in the Garden Patio of the Victorian Building. If you are a Hilton Honors member, we encourage you to take advantage of a contactless arrival and departure with Digital Key (sign up for free).

As part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, we have implemented Hilton CleanStay with Lysol protection to deliver an industry-defining standard of cleanliness and disinfection. Developed in consultation with global and local public health authorities (including the WHO and CDC), key features of Hilton CleanStay include: guestroom door seals to indicate your room has not been accessed since it was cleaned; extra disinfection on high touch areas; removal of excess in-room amenities; guest-accessible hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes throughout the resort; contactless check-in/check-out; innovative disinfection technologies; and more.

In Your Guestroom

In accordance with Hilton CleanStay protocols, extra linens/pillows, robes, throw pillows, most paper amenities, and pens have been removed from all guestrooms. Extra towels and amenities will be provided to last the duration of your stay instead of being replenished daily. Any additional items needed are available by request and will be delivered outside your door.

When you arrive at your room, a Hilton CleanStay room seal indicates that no one has accessed your room since it has been thoroughly cleaned. Housekeeping service is available upon request between 9am to 4pm (please notify us at check-in if you would like stayover service). If a team member needs to enter your room for service, they will only do so when guests are not present. Team Members will wear masks and fresh gloves when they are servicing your room.

Seating in our dining outlets has been arranged to accommodate physical distancing. Menus will be displayed or available digitally via QR code with single-use menus provided upon request.

For your convenience, we have activated a digital take-out ordering option for our overnight guests. Please see the Resort Map provided at check-in for access.

Available Activities

In accordance with local health and safety measures, the following modified activities will be available to ensure proper physical distancing. Please check back closer to your stay date as we finalize additional activities:

  • Coronado Beach is open for walking, lounging, and water activities as long as minimum 6-foot distancing is observed. Group activities are not permitted.
  • Del Beach rentals is open daily
  • Del Watersports is open daily for rentals and private lessons
  • Private s’mores roasts on the beach are available nightly
  • The Beach Village pool is available for Beach Village guests only (jacuzzis will remain closed in accordance with state guidelines). Cabanas have been removed to increase the number of lounge chairs available.

Our Team Members

Team members are receiving an extensive re-orientation on our new procedures and protocols as we prepare for reopening. In addition, team members are required to perform self-screenings at home and a contactless temperature check at the Team Member entrance before beginning work. During their shifts, Team Members are encouraged to wash hands/disinfect frequently, maintain physical distancing, and limit in-person interactions. Face masks are required for team members at all times while in guest-facing areas.

Property Enhancements

While our guests have been away, we’ve been busy on our ongoing property enhancements as part of the Master Plan. We can’t wait to unveil many of these new areas in late July and early August. In the meantime, the following areas are undergoing enhancements and are currently closed:
